Anne's Beauty who was in Florida all winter to gear up for her 2012 meet at Woodbine suffered a tendon injury in her first start at Woodbine.
"Anne's Beauty was a great mare winning stakes on both poly and on turf" said Paul Attard.

Anne's Beauty suffered a ruptured tendon during the running of the Hendrie Stakes. The vet said it was the result of a bad step.
Was she a good horse right from that start?
1) Anne's Beauty showed us from the very beginning that she was a quality filly. She very classy and loved to run.
Do you think that she will make a good broodmare?
2) I think she will make a wonderful broodmare. She is a large, gorgeous filly. As sweet and kind as could be and she was lightly raced.
What were your plans for her this year before she got hurt?
3) We had several races in mind for this season. That was a great part about her, she liked the poly and the turf, could go short and long. She won stakes on both surfaces with one being a graded stakes.
Will she be sold?
4) It hasn't been decided yet if she will be bred or sold as a broodmare. The owner has received several offers. He has not decided if he will sell her privately or through the Keeneland sale.
How is your Queen's Plate monster doing and what is his next race?
5) Awesome Overature (our Plate hopeful) came out of his last race with a chip in his knee. We had surgery done to remove the chip. He should recover well but will miss almost all of his 3 year-old season.
Things have been difficult this season. Our horses are running well but suffering injuries during their races.
