Three horses broke down in yesterdays 2 runnings of the Dubai Gold Cup. Two of the horses had to be destroyed and a fourth horses could not finish the race! The race was 3rd to be run on the card of racing but due to a horse breaking a leg and hitting the ground so hard he broke his neck and died on the track. The rest of the horses had to pull up because there was and optical on the track (The Horse) and they would not be able to go around again safely. The race was rerun again after the Dubai World Cup and two more horses got hurt and one was destroyed.
